All jobless people between the ages of 21 and 45 are eligible, with the upper age limit being relaxed by three years for candidates who identify as OBC and five years for applicants who identify as SC/ST/PH. The program also takes into account the beneficiaries’ socioeconomic status by setting a ceiling on family income of Rs. 100,000 per year. The beneficiaries’ dedication to pursuing their entrepreneurial aspirations is highlighted by the inclusion of a modest beneficiary contribution of 10%.
