The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has extended the free Aadhaar document renewal period by three months from June 14 to September 14, 2023. Upload your identification and address to update. The Aadhar card contains details such as name, permanent address, photo, gender, fingerprint, iris information and age of the registrant in biometric format. If for any reason you want to change your address, you can do it offline or online. Please do this online by following the steps listed below.

How to update Aadhaar card Click “Login” and enter your Aadhaar card number and verification code Click “Generate OTP” Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number Select “Address Update” and then “Update Aadhaar Online” Now click on the category you want to update: Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Address Now upload the required documents as proof.

1. Go to the official website of the UIDAI. 
2. On the home page, click on the My Aadhar option. Now select the “Update demographic data and check status” option. Click the Update Demographics and Check Status tabs. Log in using your Aadhar number and one-time password (OTP).
3. Click on the “Update Aadhar Online” option and you will be redirected to the following window. Click on “Continue to update Aadhar”. The following web page will be displayed. The current address is displayed on this page. Enter your new home address and required information here. Upload supporting documents confirming your new home address. Click the “Continue” button and proceed with payment. Users need to pay a total fee of Rs 50. Once payment is made, the home address change request will be reviewed by an internal team.
4. Follow the steps below to change your Aadhaar card photo.”Uidai.gov.in” is the URL for the uidai’s official website.
   Aadhaar Enrolment Form can be downloaded.
   Send the completed form along with the necessary data to the Aadhaar Enrolment Center.

   From the Aadhaar Enrolment Center, take a picture.

   In addition to GST, there is a service fee of Rs 100.

   The acknowledgement slip and update request number will be given to you.

   Using the update request number, you can monitor Aadhaar card updates.

   Updates to Aadhaar cards could take up to 90 days.
